On April 27, 2025, legendary rock band FOZZY rolled into Goldfield Trading Post in Roseville, California, delivering an electrifying performance in celebration of their (20)25th anniversary. Supporting this milestone tour were two acts: The Nocturnal Affair and Liliac.
The Nocturnal Affair—an alternative/dark/gothic rock band hailing from Las Vegas—opened the night with a powerful, emotionally resonant set. Fronted by vocalist and songwriter Brendan Shane, the band’s intense stage presence and brooding melodies had us hooked. Their latest single, “Benefit of Doubt,” released earlier this year, showcases their signature dark, atmospheric sound. Each member brought a mastery of musicianship that was impossible to ignore. Next up was Liliac, a high-energy, female-fronted family band originally from Los Angeles and now based in Atlanta. The five Cristea siblings lit up the stage with unmatched energy and musical prowess. Lead vocalist Melody Cristea delivered a powerhouse rendition of Dio’s “Holy Diver”—her raspy vocals honored the original song while making the song her own. Shout out to Justin Cristea, whose performance on the keyboard was nothing short of jaw-dropping. Discover more about this rising rock sensation by visiting their website [HERE].
Then, it was time for FOZZY. The crowd erupted as frontman Chris Jericho took the stage, his commanding presence highlighted by dynamic lighting, theatrical fog effects, and multiple wardrobe changes. Jericho’s connection with the audience was apparent. He made each person feel as though he was singing just for them. Backed by an all-star lineup—Rich Ward and Billy Grey on guitars, P.J. Farley on bass, and Grant Brooks on drums—the band delivered a set full of glitz and raw talent. Highlights included the acrobatic energy of Rich Ward, whose guitar solos and mid-air jumps reminded everyone why he’s earned the title “The Duke of Metal.”
FOZZY’s (20)25th Anniversary Tour continues through May 12, concluding in Wyandotte, Michigan. For tickets and more information about this iconic band, visit their official website [HERE].
