On June 24, 2025, Women In The Pit 777 had the dubious pleasure of taking a few photos of THE RETURN OF TOMORROW tour, co-headlined by DUSTED ANGEL and FU MANCHU.

DUSTED ANGEL, from Santa Cruz, California were up first, setting the stage with the kind of gritty doom/stoner rock we have all come to know and expect from the band with a doomy, gritty heart. Opening their set with Plastic People – an “ode” to the developers in the Santa Cruz area that are erasing culture – you could feel the angst in CLIFFORD DINSMORE’S voice. The audience was swaying and nodding. Let this song be society’s gentle reminder that developing on nature is fucked up and needs to stop!

DUSTED ANGEL has a new album out September 19th. You can pre-order it HERE

Orange County’s FU MANCHU were up next. And gave us over an hour of stoner rock with iconic songs like Evil Eye and Liquify. The mood of the crowd was pretty chill until the band riffed out “Loch Ness Wrecking Machine.” F#ckin’ bananas! Everyone was screaming and yelling over the tight and mighty riffs of BOB BALCH (a legend, IMHO). It is apparent that SCOTT HILL is at ease on stage as he shared stories and joked around with the crowd.  As the show came to an end, I spoke with a few people and asked them what they thought of the show. “Iconic” and “blistering” were just two of the words used to describe the show. We were “Eatin’ Dust” that left us wanting more.

Do not miss THE RETURN OF TOMORROW Tour. Honest. It’s a night of two legendary groups giving you their all. Totes worth it. For a list of upcoming tour dates go HERE.
